Timothy B. Hanley, M.D.

Dr. Hanley founded Cedar Run Eye Center
in 1990 and The Surgery Center in 1997. He joined a group practice when
he moved to Traverse City in 1985.
A graduate of the Michigan State University Medical School (Lansing),
Dr. Hanley completed an internship at Bronson Medical Center in
Kalamazoo, Michigan in General Surgery and completed both a residency in
Ophthalmology and a fellowship in the division of Vitreo-Retinal
Surgery & Disease at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.
Bradley Hochstetler, M.D.
Dr. Hochstetler is a sub-specialty trained eye surgeon who practices comprehensive ophthalmology. He specializes in corneal disease, corneal transplant surgery (including DSAEK), dry eye syndrome management, corneal infections and Fuchs corneal dystrophy.
Dr. Hochstetler was born and raised in northwest Ohio. He received a bachelor of science from Mount Vernon Nazarene College and his doctorate (MD) from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. His internship was completed at Andrews Air Force Base, followed by residency training at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, finally a sub-specialty fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Kathryn A. Cizek, O.D.
Dr. Cizek joined the team at Cedar Run Eye Center in 1991. Before
joining the Center in Traverse City, Michigan, she also served patients
in the communities of Grand Rapids and Charlotte, Michigan.
Dr. Cizek is licensed as an Optometrist with the State of Michigan and is a member of the Michigan
and American Optometric Association. Her licensure includes providing
prescriptions for Diagnostic and Therapeutic Pharmaceutical agents. She received Fellowship status in 1999 with the American Academy of Optometry.
A graduate of Indiana University, Dr. Cizek received a BS in Visual Science and achieved her Doctor of Optometry in 1986.
Jodi M. Hummel, O.D.

Dr. Hummel earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the
Michigan College of Optometry in 2007 and has a BS degree in Applied
Biology from Ferris State University. Dr. Hummel returned to northern Michigan in 2001 after service as an optometrist in Rochester, New York.
At Cedar Run Eye Center,
Dr. Hummel provides primary vision care such as prescriptions for eye
glasses and contact lenses, including examining the patient’s eyes to
diagnose vision problems and eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy,
macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma.
Dr. Hummel is state licensed and also has licensure through the State of Michigan in therapeutic medications which allows her to prescribe medications for glaucoma, eye infections and other eye conditions.
